if the reggie bush thing ends the way its headed and the NCAA does not bring the boom then they will lose all clout and might be in some serious jeopardy. I could see the next time they try to lay the boom on a smaller school, the school either taking them to court or blowing them off and still offering schollies. They better not start playing favorites this obviously or its their death bed.

Hes just pissed that their coach stole some of his guys. The 360 effect is starting to come around; I think the UCLA staff got reminded what happened back in 2001.

He hasn't officially signed yet, he is waiting until after usc goes into court for investigation which is in 2 weeks

Alright this story may sound outlandish, but this is coming from a somewhat trusted source who I know speaks with players on our team.

The story goes that there was a lot more to Henderson's recruitment than what was let on. His father was reportedly heavily involved with his recruitment and asked each coach when they visited, "What can you do for me?" which rubbed a lot of coaches the wrong way including Meyer, Tressel, and Randy Shannon

Apparently his dad has burgeoning rap career. When Seantrel visited USC Kiffin made it readily apparent to his father that he can put him in touch with Snoop Dog who is usually around the USC program. Also that meeting between Snoop and SH's father has taken place.

I know this story sounds crazy and I don't know if I believe it myself yet, but the source is good I promise he believes this to be true.

Sorry, But wouldn't this constitute a recruiting violation since Henderson hasn't signed his LOI?

The guys on ESPNU yesterday were talkin about how Lane didn't need to resort to dirty tricks for publicity at the mighty USC.

The funny thing about the Henderson interview I saw was that his birthday is around the time the NCAA rules on USC and he was saying that timing made it seem like fate to him that he should go to that school. ??

he hasnt signed yet according to ESPN.. his dad says that he will not sign until USC appears in front of the NCAA and gets a decision on the sanctions... his second choice was ohio state so i hope that usc loses him haha

Is there any reason we would not put the full court press on him? Is it a dead period right now? If he's looking around and he's waiting til the 19th it sounds like someone would have time to make a case.

I've never heard him mention UT (except for way early in the process when he was looking at 15 or 20 schools). But he'd almost be guaranteed a starting position here.

Agreed. A shot to the ol' ego would be nice to see here. There still may be no final verdict on the situation before Henderson has to make his decision on April 1, which only helps other people.
