Is King narrowing things down??Tennessee: "I haven't visited Tennessee, but I've been recruited heavily by Tenn. They send me hand-written mail every day. I love how they're staying on track with me and giving me time to make a decision. They're not counting me out or reading an article saying that I might commit. I like Tennessee for that."
The problem with King is he apparntly will have all the time in the world to take visits since he can't play HS ball in NC this fall.
Northern Guilford High School in Greensboro "recruited" King to play at their high school, despite the fact his true residence was listed in another district (Page High School, also in Greensboro). A relative of his lived in NGHS's district, so King listed that as his residence so that he could transfer and play for the Nighthawks. Unfortunately for him, the NCHSAA conducted an investigation of NGHS (which actually resulted in the dismissal of both the athletic director and the principal of the high school) and ruled that King could not only not play for Northern Guilford, but he couldn't play for any other school in the state, forcing him to look elsewhere to play if he chose to continue his high school playing career.

CAL is his leader, Bama is making a move and is pushing hard , I am not sure how we are handling him "I loved Cal before I even knew how good their football program was, just because of their academics," he says. "The average graduate from there makes $202,000 a year. Football-wise, I like that I could be a hybrid guy for them either with my hand down or at linebacker. I would love that opportunity, because it's for a well-rounded player."
Although they aren’t in his current top three, King says that Tennessee has been recruiting him the hardest. “I get at least like 10 pieces of mail from them everyday,” he said. “Plus they email all the time.”
King says he’s always followed the Vols, but admits it wasn’t for the most compelling reason. “I always like their colors,” he said. “But I realized that there are more important things when choosing a university.”
He says he likes the new Vols coaching staff and is excited to see what they can do. “I love the win they had in the opener (a 63-7 rout of Western Kentucky),” he said. “They looked really good and I think they’re definitely coming back.
“Plus, I love SEC football,” King said. “It’s collision football in the SEC…not tackling, collision.”

“Most certainly my top three (will receive visits)… Cal, Oregon, and Alabama,” said King regarding which programs in addition to Michigan were likely to receive officials. “Probably Tennessee (also). That’s five. I would want more, but that’s five.”
