Spent a week with two kids on the Weddington team. One is an O-lineman that goes up against him daily and both say he is the real deal. They said he comes in each day with a letter from the top programs. I asked them if he was leaning anyway and they said he does wear Clemson apparell pretty often. Take it for what it is worth.

I don't think we will push hard for him and he ends up at USCjr. IMO, we will be saving our last 2 DL spots for the studs like Lemonier, Easley, Ego, etc...

Speaking of Shembo who goes to Adry Kell and Kilgo goes to Weddington. They will be playinig against each other this fall.

Do you all see this kid on Offense in the future? We seem to be in on so many DL prospects.

I was thinking OL also (that is what scout has him listed as)

He is a bit of a project, but has good size and could be coached up to become a force, on either side of the ball.

I thought we would go after some other prospects for DT but if the staff likes him then I will trust their judgement.

From film on rivals he has a ton of work to do before he will see the field. I wish him the best though and welcome him aboard. Orgeron sees something. He knows what he is doing.

That is kind of what I was getting at. I figured we would go after other prospects that were more prepared to step on the field whether it be DT or OT.

I can't believe people in here are questioning Ed Orgeron's preferences in linemen. Seriously? You think he doesn't know exactly what he's doing?
