Per Rivals.....
There are also rumors, unfounded at this point but from a good source, that Crisp is now seriously thinking about Georgia. The Dawgs were one of his favorites when he committed to NC State. More to come.

His brother through adoption is Peter Singer, Jr. Singer was arrested and popular speculation is that NC State won't take him.

If that causes Crisp to reopen his recruitment, I doubt Saint Richt would be willing to take Singer. If Crisp sours on N.C. State because of the Singer deal, I don't know that we can overtake Georgia, but then again they're low on spots and I'm unsure what their plan is.

My guess would be someout out of the blue. I would say stone, but it looks like he may wait a little bit before making a decision.

It looks like he is indeed opening up his recruitment:

USC would like to add one more offensive tackle to their commitment class, and the Gamecocks may still have a shot at NC State commitment Robert Crisp (6-7 302) of Chapel Hill, NC. A source familiar with the situation tells PalmettoSports.com. that Crisp is not 100% solid with his commitment to State and is considering some other schools including USC. Crisp attended USC's junior day in February. Some of the other schools to offer Crisp before he committed to State are Clemson, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Miami, Michigan and Virginia Tech.

Crisp might take another look at USC > Palmetto Sports Recruiting News

I read that Singer will not be losing his scholarship, and since he doesn't have any other offers, and he and Crisp are super tight (like brothers ;), Crisp isn't going anywhere.

Mark it.

That stinks. I was hoping since he opened his recruitment he would look a closer at UT. Oh well, best of luck in the Almost Competitve Conferance.

Any chance we pursue him or is it a lost cause? I knew he had interest in us early and that he originally planned to delay his decision till the AA Army game. Would cement this class IMO.

Rumor from this area is that his family is die hard Wolfpack fans and has had season tickets for years-this was said a year ago when a Tar Heel fan said we and they had NO shot of landing the guy.
