Forty: 4.55 secs
Bench max: 295 pounds
Squat max: 425 pounds

according to his rivals profile we have now offered. Now, along with Georgia, we become only the 2nd sec team to offer which IMO plays to our advantage.
no.33 player in the country. no.5 WR.

Anyone know who is his favorite is?

I started seeing him on the wire around February...maybe?

He seems to jump around a lot and is always extremely complimentary of whatever program he's most recently seen or heard from.

That can be tricky, though, because sometimes guys are all over the place publicly and you think it couldn't be more wide open, then out of nowhere the guy abruptly ends his recruitment.

I've seen him speak about Pitt, Rutgers, UGA and some other programs.

He is strong. A lil comparison, Julio Jones benched 315 when he came out, this guy is close.

and he is going to visit.

A new article with the Michigan State Rivals affiliate says, that his cut is still a week away most likely. He said MSU will make it, despite not contacting him since offering him.

I would be quite shocked to see him trim Tennessee.

This guy seems to be flying under the radar to be a top 50 recruit. Any news? He would be a nice add with Ambles

Pitt, Boston College, Rutgers, Maryland, North Carolina..."Those are probably my top five, but I'm not really sure yet. Those are the schools that I might take official visits to. We'll see."

UGA is out.

"I talk to Pitt a lot and e-mail with them a lot. I probably hear from them more than anyone else."

Right now Phillips is a BC lean, with Pitt in 2nd. I heard UGA cooled on him,and that's why they aren't there. If he commits in September like he wants to it will be BC,if he takes officials it's up in the air.
