Most every university in the country technically starts with "The". It mainly started being used way back in the day to differentiate between OSU and Ohio University. SOme of you guys need to lighten up and not be such d*cks to new members for no reason.

They do it to try and be over zealous about being the buckeyes. Im no douche. I am stating that trying to look bigger and better by saying your THE OSU buckeyes is gay. On this board, which is a Tennessee board" OSU does not have a t in front of it.

I didnt realize he was new i was just giving a little hell. Didnt mean to piss off the pansy police.

I say let them have their "the". We'll keep the championships in the league and that sweet Citrus Bowl victory.

I'm not gonna lie....

Some of the fan base is like that...I'm not. I see the good and the bad with Buck's. But anyway's its cool, I'm not pissed or that offended...

Its a message board....I wasnt pissed in the least. You were just being a complete D-bag to a new member for absolutely no reason. I am sure he didnt mean to apparently hurt your ego or something by writing THE Ohio State.....it is how their fans refer to them. No big deal.

By "We" you mean LSU and UF right? :) Just messing Sab. That Cirtus Bowl win is my favorite Vol memory. I watched that game with my Dad (UT alum) and my Grandpa (OSU alum). It was a sweet, sweet few months of bragging before we let it go!

No he wasn't. I think you're just showing your true colors.

I know for sure I'm visiting Tennessee, Ohio State and Michigan State.

Bryant claims that "everything is even" and that distance is not a factor, as he is more concerned with how he fits in at a program.

LV, Sab, anyone know when he might be coming for an official. i figured usc jr. if he doesnt have one scheduled yet. also do you see us even taking him if we get riley and elam, thought we might save the remaining scholarships for oline and some other need positions.

I think if we CAN get another kid from Glenville, we absolutely should...

Edwards is the first Glenville kid to play in the SEC...if we could pull one a year from up there it would be a massive coup.

I still think Bryant will go to tOSU though.

Glenville is def buckeye country but if we could snag Bryant after we already got Edwards, then we would be in on glenville kids for the next 5 years, that my friend, is how you create a pipeline.

Michigan State will have four-star cornerback Christian Bryant of Cleveland Glenville on campus this weekend; it will be his first official visit and probably the only one he'll take until his season is finished. Ohio State clearly is the team to beat here, but Michigan State and Tennessee are making a strong effort. Bryant said earlier in the season that he and teammate Latwan Anderson talked extensively about playing at the same college together, but that has cooled down a lot in recent weeks. Anderson, like Bryan, is considered a heavy lean to Ohio State, but West Virginia and others cannot be counted out. Anderson might visit Michigan State this weekend as well.

One small problem. That pipeline is 100% directed at tOSU. We got Edwards because they didnt want him. Bryant will be a Buckeye if they want him, no matter what you read. Ginn Sr will not send his kids anywhere else if the Buckeyes want them. That school is possibly the most locked down top high school in the country. If the Buckeyes start making it a habit of refusing or not taking kids then it could play in our favor but I just dont see that happening.
