'10 OK ATH Demarco Cobbs

Yep. I'm sure that loss yesterday is tough to swallow, especially after such a great showing against WK probably had optimism soaring. Miracle immediate turnarounds are extremely rare. Look at all of the talent Orgeron left behind for Nutt at Ole Miss and they still lost several of their early games last season. But they were more competitive and kept improving as the season went on. However, I think Snead appears to be a good bit better than UTs QBs and a good QB sure helps. Bama lost six games in Saban's first year, but won all twelve regular season games the next season. Biggest difference was the number of turnovers. UT's defense played very well and the offense did pretty well too except for the QB turnovers. UT's players played with good intensity and never quit. Just too many turnovers. Got to eliminate most of those in order to win against good teams. UCLA is a good team. Y'all keep your chins up.

Good post, sure you're not a closet UT fan?:)

I agree Tidal Surge. Since we have these other commits stacking up, what do you say? Make the switch. Drink the orange kool-aid. You're way too classy to be a Bama fan.

wasn't someone getting offensive about cobbs not being a silent everytime it came up??? It looks like he was and kiffin asked him to go public to get positive news out there

i dont think i have ever seen a pull such as tonight in recruiting minus signing day...not usual to see 3 monster recruit go public in same night....This is huge leverage for our staff with the rest of recruits that we are about full and its time to jump on the LANE TRAIN before its too late

we are likely done with dlineman unles Quarles wants to come....we have a spot for Riggs, Riley if they want it and the rest olineman and 1 or 2 linebackers

You know, I've bashed and shot down anyone who says anything about the name of Jesse Scroggins, but all I can say is....after a day like today, if ANY staff in this country could get him to de-commit now and join Bray on the Volunteers, it's THIS staff.

Unbelievable.

Spots are filling up quickly, but with a couple of offensive lineman and maybe a RB, CB, and LB we cannot be wanting for much. Amazing!

I'm glad he pulled the trigger and made the commitment. I was getting worried there for a minute. Miller, Willis, and Cobbs added a huge jolt to recruiting. Now if we can get some more OL commits it would be awesome. Our DL is good but it is going to be sick in the next few years to come.

so does ESPN...of the four headline spots in the espn recruiting section three of them are vols (cobbs, willis, miller) and one ohio st. kid. Looks pretty cool.
