Somehow, some way I hope Oklahoma State can jump Bama.

I'd pull for Okie lite to lose if I thought Stanford could jump Bama but they can't. Doubt the Cowboys can either but it's the best thing that could happen at this point. Do not care about conference pride at this point. I want neither LSU or Bama to win the championship.

The O/U for this game should be higher than a few of the basketball games today.

I always thought it was weird when Oklahoma State ditched the black/black helmets for white. Now it's weird seeing them back in black, especially with the weird orange that almost looks red. Personally, I think these unis are ugly.

Crazy.

I suppose it makes sense seeing as Oklahoma is generally a powerhouse and Okie Lite is average but you'd think they'd give their only real instate competition more of a fight.

too large a gap unfortunately. Only way is if ESPN starts and spends all night politicking for them to play/that they should play in the national championship


Herbstreit's statements seem to make it pretty clear the stance ESPN is taking isn't going to be that one this time

this one might have potential to be the best game of the day



...why'd they have to play the hawaii game at 7:30 EST? I wanted another late game after these

I was thinking the same thing. I was hoping for a 10 or 11 EST kickoff for the last weekend of the season.

Maybe so they can devote all ESPN channels to spending an entire uninterrupted night talking nonstop about what the final rankings/bowl match ups might be?

I would like to see OK state's offense against LSU's defense. LSU would win, would be fun to watch though.

Not sure. 15-18 maybe? I'm not really sure what the standings are around them. It would also depend what the score is. If they lose by 7 or 10, it shouldn't be too bad. If they lose by 20, it should be worse.

also the fox announcers for the Big 10 game sound a lot better than tonight's ESPN/ABC ones

that is an odd formation: 3 Backs @ shotgun distance in a V, the QB still in the shotgun.....I guess that's what you do when your offense doesn't take snaps under center (& thus can't really run a goal line)

How bad of a beatdown does OK State need to give OK to jump Bama? Is it just a lost cause no matter what happens?

it's pretty much a lost cause due to how wide the gap in the last standings was


it'd likely take a beating of record proportions...like I'm not sure 50-0 or 60-0 would be enough.

More than anything though I don't think anything can/will change unless espn starts to push for them - heavy...like all night throughout all their shows - to jump alabama...possibly even for bama to be pushed further down also
