I like what I see. We don't appear to be in the running right now but I don't think we'd have a hard time spurring him from the other schools on his list with our coaching staff. Does he look like the kind of quarterback we're interested in?

Also, he's a 5 star on scout for what it's worth

Just going by his offer list, I'd say he's not our kind of QB.

Penn State runs a semi spread. WVU is the full out spread option.

Plus his offer list isn't very impressive..

Cut knows a little about QBs. He might have been wrong about BJ

I wonder why he won't be a camp this week with the other QB's ? Why would any QB that opens up recruiting or has committed anywhere, not at least take a visit here ?

This may be one guy Kiffin goes after if he doesn't get Scroggins. Especially since Robert Bolden just committed to PSU.

ugh love your enthusiasm but hes not better than scroggins.... book it. Our staff and every other staffs evaluation in the country (for the most part) has scroggins higher and even if everyone else's didn't I would trust our staff's evaluation over yours anyway. haha.

Sort of funny how every time Kiffin is about to get egg on his face a new opportunity shows up. Just like last year when the Florida running back went to the gamecocks. We ended up with Oku and Bryce Brown. Maybe this is another one of those situations.

With this staff, even when something goes wrong on the recruiting trail, there is always an adequate back-up plan.

This is exactly why I will not freak out when Scroggins commits to USC on Wednesday. Good post.
