We're just going to have to wait for Scroggins to make his decision. If he goes elsewhere, we should expect quite a few changes. I don't see why Paul Jones wouldn't get some attention, as he and Grayson are the best available options to consider. Also, if he got offered by Duke, not only does that mean Cutcliffe likes him, but it means he's a pretty sharp and focused kid...as Duke's academic requirements are about as stringent as Vandy's.

Dude. Your avatar is insane. i'm loving the power T jerseys. Nice work.

A broken leg his senior year probably hurt his rating. When you average near 8 YPC as a junior in Florida football, you're going to be noticed. Especially when he was a top sprinter too.

if you knew half of what you thought you knew, you would be doing all right. jones has ben commited to PSU for a while now, and just opend up his recruting, i have never clamed to know more than anyone on the subject. im not gona resort to personal attacks like you its just childish, but ill be at the WKU game, why dont you come on by where we are tail gating and bring those personal attacks with you. ill cook you a rib eye.
dude, if you use firefox, you can spell check your posts...

Why does everyone on this site keep using the exception to the rule as some kind of argument? There are hundreds of more guys that were two stars that never did jack.
LOL...just like for every 3 star QB that someone finds on rivals, we get "Sam Bradford was a 3 star"

ugh

Thank you UTVolMan. Exactly what I was saying. So many people have tried to use that in an argument with me this year. I get that it happens, but it is often by accident as opposed to some sort of superior scouting job. We can't just recruit a bunch of 2* just because sometimes one of them makes it big.

BTW, VBN, that heated post above wasn't necessarily directed towards you, it was just the nth time I had seen it today. Sorry if I offended.

so...Paul Jones...have we even evaluated this guy?

I honestly have heard less about him than any other Rivals 100 QBs...

on the subject of the exception to the rule, my favorite is how every quarterback under 6 feet is the next doug flutie and any quarterback in the 6 foot range is the next drew brees

Did anyone else realize Robert Bolden, 4 star dual-threat QB commited to Penn St. on July 10th? I didn't. I will be surprised if Paul Jones doesn't de-commit soon. I know he opened up his recruitment a while back, but he is still committed as of now. Hopefully UT is giving him some attention. He has nice size and being a pro-style QB he should fit our system nicely.

Nah, it's all good. Sometimes I just throw out little comments just to be a smart ass, I'm interested in recruiting but not hardcore like a lot of you guys

Just watched his Jr highlights. This kid a damn arm, just flicked the ball 60 yards.

I'd actually be more happy if we got this guy than Jesse Scroggins. Both he and B. Brunetti can burn a defense with their running once out of the pocket.
The last time we had someone in this mold, we won a NC.
I shudder to think how that season would've gone without Tee's ability to improvise and make a play with his feet when no one was open and the play broke down.

Since then, it's either take a sack or throw the ball out of bounds. I sure would like to have a good pocket passer with some wheels for a change.

Well...I must admit, Me. Jones is quite a player!...I honestly hadn't heard much about him until now and I am very impressed...This guy has a monster arm and looks to be hard to get a hold of outside the pocket....Might be able to steal him away from PSU if some effort is shown.
