I keep hearing this kids name being thrown around. Didn't I read that Forbes was visiting him last week?

Someone on Bruce's staff did skip the UNCA game (I think it was that game) to "scout" Cothron.

This kid is looking like a must get if Pinkston really decided he doesn't want to come to UT.

My friend text me after the whole Pinkston ordeal & told me to keep this guys name in mind. He said the staff will try to pull Cothron in if we cant get Pinkston.

I'd rather have Pinkston but Cothron would be an upgrade over any Juco player I've heard of.

I do like Pinkston slightly better as a player. However, Cothron fits our need better by being able to play both PF and C. I'd gladly take either but may prefer Cothron.

All I got to say is, dude needs to be coached up big time. His film is HORRIBLE. No Handles am no shot outside of like 10 ft. My film would be better than his. :)

muy interesante. we need a big guy for next year, straight up. Abraham looks to be slipping away, any shot at Cothron?

next year isn't as big of a concern as the year after... we will only have Hall at 5, and I don't know if we are in the running for any big men in that recruiting class.

Right now we have Harris Williams Hall Maymon an Woolridge for next year. I they step up will be fine.

But golfballs has a good point about the following year. Only Hall will be left to play the 5; we'll need to recruit inside between now and then.

Woolridge is not a big man, period, and shouldn't be brought in the conversation with the 4's and the 5's. He a bigger body that has a guard/SF skillset (and not a very good one at that) who is stuck playing out of position due to depth at the SF position and lack of good depth in the bigs (atleast after the suspensions).

The videos of him on youtube are not very impressive. He looks very timid around the basket and takes it to the hole looking to lay it up instead of throw it down over extremely under sized competition. Maybe he needs to be coached up? Anyone else got any ideas how he could help this team next year?

read somewhere he had sent a e mail to antigua at ky.,looking into a visit. said he liked how they used used patterson and cousins and the ddmo, wasnt much abt kys interest......just said they'd be in contact after the ncaa championship was over, that could give coach a couple weeks to get in tighter with him.

We weren't listed on the scroll on ESPN. It said he was considering UK, Bama, Connecticut, and TX A&M.
