Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson, South Carolina and others have offered Fulton, His teammate, defensive end Dexter Morant, joined him on his trip to Alabama and had a good time as well. Morant also is an ESPNU150 Watch List prospect.

6-foot-1 cornerback prospect who can run with speedy wideouts and play physical with bigger opponents. He could end up as a safety in college, but he has the athleticism and hips to give it a go at cornerback first. And he showed impressive toughness throughout the event running his 40, shuttle and going through drills and one-on-ones with a swollen foot. He's a competitor.

4.27 Tire flat, but not his performance | CharlotteObserver.com

He turned in 40s of 4.44 and 4.48 seconds, the best times of the day. One of the timers whistled and said, “That kid is just a laser.”

“I think my best place is cornerback; I know I've got to prove that, that's why I'm trying to work on my speed stuff.”

Fulton showed off those coverage skills in one-on-one drills in the afternoon. When it was done, he was named the day's defensive most valuable player.

He already has eight offers – from Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Clemson, Maryland, N.C. State and Georgia. More will be coming

"Alabama just makes me feel at home. I visited there for a Junior Day and at the hotel I got all kinds of fans asking about me, wanting to know where I was from and stuff like that. They are crazy about football. I love that. I also think I can come in early and play so that is a plus too."

"There is something I like about each of the schools that are after me. At Florida, I love the weather and they are a championship program. At Georgia, I think I could come in and play early. South Carolina is a school I have followed a long time so it would be sort of a dream to play there.

"At Clemson I have friends who have played there and my coaches. North Carolina State is a school on the rise and I could help them get to the next level. And Tennessee is always wanting me to call them and talk. They are recruiting me hard."

He has Bama as his #1...

Lots of old people in Knoxville that are willing to talk about Tennessee if that's what it takes.

"Manning DB John Fulton (6-0 180) has formulated a top five list, and he has Alabama leading the way right now. "It's just coach Saban and the way they treated me on my visit," Fulton said. "It was crazy. We stayed at a hotel and the people started talking to us about Alabama, old people, and they didn't even know we were recruits." Fulton said the Crimson Tide doesn't have a big lead on the rest of the pack which he lists in order as Florida, Georgia, USC and Tennessee. Coaches from USC, Florida and Alabama were by his school last week and he has talked with his recruiters from those schools on the phone. He spoke with USC recruiter Shane Beamer Saturday. "He said they have a need for corners and I have a chance to play early," Fulton said. Fulton participated in the recent Elite 100 and Scout.com combines in Charlotte and was named the defensive back MVP at both. Fulton said he ran a laser timed 4.39 in the 40. Fulton has offers from USC, Clemson, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, NC State and Tennessee."

Tennessee – "They recruit me so hard. They are recruiting the hardest of anyone. Their new staff is crazy. Every coach writes me every day. I get more letters from Tennessee than everyone else combined. (Quarterbacks) coach (David) Reaves has been by my school."

"Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee," the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder listed in order. "I'm going to take all of my visits after the season and then make my decision. In the meantime I'm going to continue to work hard for God, my family and that special somebody."

Back to this jamarcus hines kid why is everyone hating on him I mean he was a beast in middle school along with the eric watson's, derrick murrell's and more he was top 3 in the city. the only reason he didnt go to south panola or olive branch is because he wanted to keep it in the state and heart of tn which is memphis and every since hes been at fairley they have done exceptionally well he was starting as a freshman he was the otb pre-season all state team and more alos he was the mvp of the 2007-08 hoover football 7on7 he help lead fairley to second place losing the championship to olive branch 35-28. He had 9 int's in 6 games. against whitestation, bishop byrne, harding academy, and more come on!! You still give him no respect he won the freaking 2009 Rivals defensive Mvp with ease. Straight locking people DOWN only one receiver caught a pass on him and that was a comeback (Thrown very good by brunetti) come on keiwon malone didnt even wanna see him at the end when the had their best 2 wr's and 2 db's he went to the back he had the crowd in aWWWw!! And yes hes under the radar but dont be suprise if hes a 5star sleeper beleive me ask the Tenn recruit who he talked too. No wait ask the georgia recruit who all gave him one on ones and their personal cell number but no you guys wanna talk about other people who were their and didnt even step close to his talent level as a db. As a freshman he averaged 16+ yrds a touch at fairley high he recorded 60 tackles 3 int's as a sophmore while missing 3 games. 5'10 172 34 inch vertical he powerball tossed a 38 while messing around because all high school coaches were jocking him when he left fairley wanting him to come and play for them!! whatever tho I guess Tn real talent is always under looked. He just dont have the money to go to camps and things but coach ed orgeron Told him to make SURE he be at the vols camp june 2nd
