per espn...

ESPNU 150 Watch List cornerback John Fulton (Manning, S.C.) told ESPN affiliate TheBigSpur.com Saturday that South Carolina is now his new leader over Alabama.

Fulton visited South Carolina unofficially on Saturday when the Gamecocks held their "Gamecock Showcase" camp in Columbia.

"South Carolina is my leader," he said. "Alabama has been my leader since January but after I went to South Carolina and took the tour it just felt really right it's only 45 minutes from my house."

"I will make my decision in November and I will probably do a press conference," Fulton continued. "I know three official visits, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Alabama."

might get the 5th one but i dont know if we need someone of this intelligence level...

“(Michigan) and Tennessee… those are the two teams that can get thrown in my top five at any time,” Fulton reported.

Per Scout... His top 5 is USCjr, Bama, UF, UGA, and LSU. Look for UT to try to make a play with him...

Vader, you do a dang good job at bringing in information about recruiting. Even if we never have a shot of getting in his top 5, this is good reading material....keep up the good work

Saturday is a good time to show why being a Vol is so much better than playing for South Carolina. I hope our secondary shows Mr. Fulton the real deal.

The Leaderboard

Under Armour All-American cornerback John Fulton (Manning, S.C./Manning-) has shown why he is potentially special this week during practices leading up to Saturday’s Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. So far, he is the top prospect.

Fulton plays for a good high school program in South Carolina, but rarely gets tested by passing teams. During workouts this week he has had several battles with highly-regarded receivers like ESPNU150 Clemson commit Martavis Bryant (Anderson, S.C./T.L. Hanna) and won most of them. He is tall, has long arms and the ability to time his jumps well and play the ball. Fulton will make his decision (expected to be Alabama or South Carolina) at the Under Armour All-American game on Jan. 2 (ESPN, 11 a.m. ET) at Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg, Fla.

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that this kid could be the "suprise" recruit that no said we would get. I base this off of nothing, but I feel as if we have a fighting chance with this kid.

This kid is an EE for the spring and will annouce between USC and UA. I think it will be USC since he has stated that his heart tells him to go there and his family are huge Gamecock fans. Not to mention he attended every home game but one at USC and his OVs on the road were against USC. I hope UA can get him but I think he will be a Gamecock in the end.

Dang...Milliner and Fulton will make a great duo...

Alabama and Florida are going to stay ahead of TN in talent unless this staff pulls out a miraculous finish.

They would stay ahead of us even if we landed everyone we wanted. They have a good 2 year lead on us at least.
