320+560=soft?

Yeah, the kid weighs 275 so he's only benching 40lbs more than he weighs. He should be benching 400. When I was 20 I was benching 300 and only weighed 190. His squat should be around 700 unless those are deep squats.

700? LMAO

There is no way you can judge whether a player is going to be soft by his bench max. The bench is overrated when it comes to football anyways. Big Jac should be the best lineman in the SEC based on his superhuman strength.

You are right, Just because you can push the weight doesn't mean you will be the good. But if you can't push it then it's already a strike against you. That's all I'm saying. We judge athleticism and weights are part of that.

I do not see us recruiting him any more unless we take him as a DE, which he also plays. We already have 2 TE for the class of 2010.

B Vogler 6'6 245
H Jones 6'4 225

E Farmer 6'2 265 A little small for a TE. BTW he is from NC not SC I believe.

Vogler is gonna be a beast for you guys. I really wanted him at UT....I had Witten 2.0 in mind with him.

Farmer plans to make it to Tennessee in November and that's his only other upcoming game day unofficial visit outside of Clemson that he knows of.

"I've been talking with (Volunteers quarterbacks) coach (David) Reaves and he wants me to come up there and check out the place then," he said. "He said they need me up there and that I'd have the opportunity to play there early. They have a great staff there."

Per Rivals...

Clemson, North Carolina and N.C. State have emerged as the choices for defensive lineman Ethan Farmer of Tabor City, N.C., according to his coach Jake Fonvielle. Recruiters from all three schools were in last week to meet with Farmer. Fonvielle said Clemson and State like Farmer as a defensive tackle, while North Carolina is recruiting him as a tight end and defensive line prospect. Farmer has set an official visit with Clemson for Jan. 15. He will go to North Carolina the following week and State on the 29th.

Sources say that tight end Ethan Farmer appears to be a North Carolina lock and some are surprised he hasn't already committed.
This is a guy I would love to have. I think he's a TE all the way.

This has to be one of the most underrated guys in this class. I wish we would pick up the slack and go after this guy.
