'10 TN DE Jacques Smith

Jacques Smith looks more like a linebacker in size and would be one of the best looking linebackers here if that was the position he was playing. As a DE, he'll need to rely on his quickness against these mammoth linemen.

- Mike Farrell...

I agree with Farrell. Jac doesn't have that long lean frame that the elite pass-rushers have. Not saying he can't be elite, just saying his frame doesn't look the part.

"Sizing them up" article on rivals has Jac playing LB in the AA game...

OT: The west team has a player from LA and the east team has a player from CO...?

Jacques has always looked like a diesel OLB to me.
I asked in another thread if anyone else thought he would play out as a LB for us.

I would Love to see him running downhil with a 5 yard head start ready to mash Trent Richardson or Michael Dyer

:aggressive:

Boys, we need more LB then DL now. We have miller, Brown, Copeland. All we have is Taylor at LB. Im all for playin him at LB.

Thats a topic that has been open to discussion for a while now it will be interesting to see if it happens or not.

I have been txting him and he said he started the day off really strong and then finished not as well but said markeith tore it up and willis is gone

kid is straight jacked...LB IMO similar to Parys Haralson and Robert Ayers in the pros now in how they play hybrid by playing Lb most of the time and then put hand down on 3rd down to rush passer.
