Smith was all over the field and he was playing DE in the game so I think he could be a monster at LB and then pass rush DE on 3rd down Aka Shawn Merriman, Parys Haralson and Robert Ayers in NFL

I swear everytime he was in the game I saw Smith whereever the tackle was made...freaking kid has a relentless motor like Will Overstreet did

I think it has a lot to do with him having a huge ego and being abe to control the whole personnel process at Seattle. He will have them pick a GM that will conforms to his way of thinking and, 7 mil a year doesn't hurt

Also getting paid monster dollars. USC's window of dominance in CFB and Pac 10 is about over. They'll always be a top team under Carroll, but doubt we'd see the kind of run they had again...the shine is off the apple.

Given the NCAA issues, this is a great opportunity to take a huge pay check, large span of control to a weak division. His owner has tons of resources and perhaps 3rd time will be a charm in the NFL.

I can totally understand Jac being floored right now, but he comitted to UT, has been the face of this recruiting class since last February, and will be a much needed impact player next year no matter who the coach is. I hope he makes the right decision here.

Jac is probably just really shocked and emotionally at this point (just like all the other guys) - gotta give them some time - and a new HC.

Some will jump ship before we have the opportunity to sway them back though.
