Billy Tucker: James Stone's commitment to the Vols is a bit of a surprise as many thought this talented lineman was headed to Alabama. Stone will team up with Ja'Wuan James to give the Vols two of the better OTs in the country. He is athletic, quick off the ball and consistently works his way up to the second level. Stone will need to polish up on fundamentals but he is an excellent athlete with a ton of physical tools to develop in Knoxville.

This is a HUGE GET for CDD and staff...And the two main reason are:

1.) Have a lot of holes to fill on the offensive line and he could have the ability to come in and contribute right away

2.) He got him from Nick Saban and Alabama...Granted it was prolly a lil easier being that Stone is an instate talent but Alabama was in the lead for his services for the longest time and for CDD to 'steal' him from Saban is huge given Saban's recruiting prowness!

Now he needs to go ahead and get on the ball with another in state talent of 2011 and another one that will be between us and Bama and get on the ball with Antonio Richardson...A potential 5 star DT/OL from another Nashville school! This kid is an absolute beast (6'6'' 305 lbs) and given the lack of DT's that we signed this class, it will be the biggest need of next years class!!!
