Nothing wrong with Blacksburg, it's actually a pretty nice little town. My theory is that Tech football fans became so bad because they've dominated the whole state in fanhood and football in general for the last 25 years or so. Pretty much a result of Uva being beyond awful, it's a rivalry only in name.

agree. though this year uva might have a little something for them. London has the hoos playing well and improving. uva will soon be back to winning 9 games/year which is good for them. I would love it if uva knocked tech out of the acc champ game. doubt it happens but it would be nice.

You're right about London, it's weird to see that team actually caring. The whole culture there just couldn't care less about football, players included usually.
