100,000 vol fan march!

I left the Memphis area and am currently at mile marker 42 on I-40. So far the only people to join the march are a hitchhiker named Earl and some guy who keeps asking us for gas money.

Earl says he may not go all the way to Knoxville since Nashville is a more homeless friendly town.

Hope you find the other 99,998 people. See you in a month.

Thank you sir for your service to our great country.

Concerning the march Im completely on board, being proactive is the only way we are going to get things done. Do you have a website?

It'll be nice to have you all corralled into one place.

Not clear on the concept. What question(s) is it that you want an answer to?

And what has Hart done that makes him a tyrant? Did I miss something?

Why and how did you fnck up the Gruden deal? Mr. Hart you know of Volnation, the everything UT message bord. There were several posters close to several sources that said the Gruden deal was all but finished. We as fans expect and demand answers as to how you fncked up such a sure thing. By the way, anyone you hire will not be suffecient. Jon Gruden was the only "homerun hire" but, you sir fnucked that up.

Something along those lines

I, like everyone else, have no idea what Hart is doing or who he will hire.Having a protest, storming Neyland Stadium or ransacking Hart's office will do nothing.Wait until someone is hired and if you don't agree with it then the best thing you can do is nothing. And by nothing I mean don't buy tickets, merchandise or anything Vol related, make no donations to the university, the best way to protest is by hitting them in the wallet. Now,that being said Hart doesn't owe anyone anything right now but if he botches this by hiring someone along the lines of Al F'n Golden then he'll learn soon enough when he has a stadium at about 1/3 capacity.Dave Hart's job is tied to this hire and I'm pretty sure he's smart enough to realize that and if not then perhaps he can go to work with Mike Hamilton.

I am in the National Gurad and deployed right now. I am pretty much useless in any efforts to do anyting myself. However, and I am 100% serious about this, I think the fans can make a difference. Therefore, I am calling for a 100,000 VOL FAN MARCH!. I am completely serious here everybody. 100,000 fans, right up to Harts door. maybe the Rock. it need to be organized. People need to grows some balls. Nobody ever stands up for anything anymore. Does anybody really think that hart reads these boards? And if he does, do you think he really gives a damn about what people say here? But, action, that speaks loudly and cant be ignored. A messge board is good for messages, not good for action. I swear to you, if i were home, I would do everything I possibly could, even if I had to go by myself and hope others would join me and make my voice known, right to the little weasels face! We can manage, or we used to could manage, to get 100,000 fans in the stands for one football game. Why cant we get 100,000 together to save the entire TN Vol Football program. Do we want to sit back and watch the best recruits go to bama and Florida? Do we want to continue to watch SECCG's with everyone in it but UT? Do we want to continue to see 6-6, 5-7 or worse seasons? hell no! Im sorry. Something has to happen. Hart cares so little about the fans, that he cant even make one little statement. Did you try to get Gruden Mr. hart? Why couldnt you? Wasit your fault or His? We deserve to know what the hell is going on. Damn it! I wish I were home! Come on Vol fans, UNITE AGAINST THIS TYRANT NAMED HART!

I appreciate your service and enthusiasm, but the fact you are allowed to carry a gun scares me greatly.

Let me ask the OP. do you love UT football enough to get stomped out or shot by KPD in riot gear? This isn't Brazillian soccer where they riot for nothing. I see what you're saying, but I just don't see it ending pretty for a few folks.

What drama? KPD could care less. In fact, many of them would support any sign of life from the fan base.

If you want to be anti-establisment then go find some other kind of phony liberal drama made up situation.

This is sad and disgusting. So many other issues facing this country and your wanting organize a 100,000 person march because someone didn't hire the guy you wanted because it wasn't logical.

Not sure Hart owes us anything. It's a business. And he will be judged by business decisions made just like anywhere else. Make the wrong decision and it become obvious and you don't survive.

New boss....repeat as needed....(see Mike Hamilton).

He doesn't owe us anything? We pay top dollar for tickets to watch this farce and he doesn't owe us anything? Begone, you lemmings! Hart owes us his very soul!

Well America had a chance to straighten this country and all those problems up , but just like I am saying here...NO BALLS. People like being herded around like sheep I guess. Yeah I know people will not rise up for something like this, but I think this post reflects just how people fill about getting the run around. Football takes in alot of money at UT. Money that many of us pay at the games, buying tickets, merchandise....yeah we deserve an answer.

7890516]What may be a better idea is planning a 100,000 person march around December 17th to Neyland Stadium.[/B] Might be a guy over there worth seeing. I have no issue with a march, I just think it should be to celebrate a new era of UT football. Be Patient.

No, Do it at LP in Nashville, with 100,000+ decked out in Orange and White, holding Gruden signs and chanting, "We Need Gruden!". He will be in the stadium for the last MNF game that night and we'll get tons of TV Exposure!

If you don't mind when you get to Nashville head south to Chattanooga and then up to Knoxville. There is a Vol fan just outside of Chattanooga that is having problems with his tranny and needs a ride to Knoxville. He's been waiting on the side of the road since Florida weekend. No word lately on his tranny.
