Kuharsky is staying, and his show will be the only one keeping its 4 hour runtime. And I'm glad, because the Midday 180 is easily the best sports show in Nashville.

I agree with you, but Kuharsky is an arrogant person who thinks everyone from the south is ignorant
Kuharsky is a shock jock. Just like clay. And he is the only reason I listen at Lunch and I can’t stand his conceited attitude. But he makes the show!

sorry but he's an idiot. He tries to come across as a know it all but doesnt. Example: when Steve McNair was locked out of the Titans facility he was asked about it and his response was dont worry, they will work this out with him. He went to Baltimore. Someone called asking about Koren Robinson and if he would play. John responded he only had a hangnail. Robinson had been arrested and it was all over the internet. And that's not even taking into consideration the time he fell asleep on the air and was snoring. Pretty unprofessional right there.

so true

But he is cheap. Ingram and Howard were expensive and regardless of what we are told, that is the key.
I have no insider knowledge of what is going on at The Zone, but I wonder if they are moving towards the model of hosts buying time. That's what a lot of the local programming stations do. I usually listen to Bill King in the mornings. I've listened to J-Mart's wrestling show before and enjoyed it even though I am not a big wrestling enthusiast. I'll give him a shot in the mornings (listening as I type actually).

Total money move.

Martin needs a co-host and needs to bring more people on to talk. That will come with time as the show finds a path. It sounds more like a podcast right now

It's the only one in the lineup worth listening to, except when they have Clay Travis on and the audience's collective IQ drops about 50 points listening to Mr. "Move the Goalposts when I'm wrong".

And even then I barely listen to them anymore. The whole sports talk radio model is so outdated.

That is the best part of their show! When Travis and Kuharsky constantly battle it out.
