Are you watching the game? Almost every pass has been a short throw. That is how the game is played. There have been plenty of articles written about the NFL, Brady, and the short passing game also. He throws more long passes now but he and a ton of NFL qbs live on the short pass.

I know. He has great blocking and wrs/backs who gain a ton of yards after the catch. Just like Brady his actual throws are usually within five yards of the los.

Butch was terrible. I just think that people fawning over this offense is funny when Butch ran the same plays. We just had worse coaches calling the plays and a terrible line.

This is exactly what OU has done. Quit with the excuses of why certain teams can do it and Butch Jones couldn't. Piss poor coaching and predictability will thwart any "game plan."

I agree. I just think its funny people complain about the qbs throwing screens. That isn't the problem. Its the execution.
