I get the hype for this season. What I don't understand is the hype for him in regards to being "one of the greatest qb's" to ever play the game.

I haven't seen anything that puts him in the same category with the Tebow's, Cam's, Manziel's of the world.

To me Baker is right on par with Andrew Luck.

His story alone is incredible. How many guys who won the Heisman walked on to a school, then left, walked on to another school, and then put up some of the craziest numbers in history. He's accurate, has a powerful arm, and plays with a nasty streak. The kinda guy you hate to play against but love to play with.

No idea if his skills translate to the NFL, I'm judging him right now completely based on his college career.

I don’t care how good he is as a player. He is nothing but a jerk, but everyone still kisses his tail. Maybe I am not a football genius like you, but I do understand character.

Oklahoma would’ve already had the game wrapped up if they would’ve stuck with the hurry up. It wasn’t Georgia’s adjustments, it was OU getting too comfortable. Kirby Dumb has no answer for OU’s hurry up.

Oh absolutely. There's a lot of Manziel in his attitude. Knows when to charm people but that's not who he is. Definitely comes across as a jerk (to put it nicely).

150+ tds, nearly 16,000 yards of total offense, taken his team to the playoffs 2 of the last 3 seasons, Heisman trophy winner, won 38-39 games as a starter. His resume stacks up with anybody’s. Actually, it far exceeds most everybody’s.

Funny to think we almost had him and now they are talking about him being a potential top 5 pick. Glad Butch messed that one up :clapping:

He has benefited from playing in an extremely lopsided conference. He’s basically been given all the supporting cast talent in 4/5 stars against 3/5 stars.
