No, not at all but I am tired of trolls coming onto our board to talk crap. Actually this is the first time I've ever told a troll to go away. lol I love my Vols man and it just makes me mad when they come on here telling us that we suck in football, suck in recruiting and suck all the way around. I just don't see the point in it. Sorry.

Didn't see anything about saying you suck, recruiting will probably be hard until DD proves himself, and it is pretty much a fact that Tn. doesn't seem to have strong high school football programs that produce a lot of players like Fl., Ga. or Al.

I actually think that CDD will surprise alot of people this year with his recruiting. He recruits just like Saban, which means he finds 5 stars when the services only see them as 2 or 3 stars. He knows what he is doing and with the tradition of UT behind him now the players will come. UT needs to get back to the basics and CDD will do that.

In regards to UT recruiting AL, it just depends where. Certian schools are hard to draw out of state and that is true in any state when competing with instate schools. Also I do not think this player was that high on CDD's board as some others he is after.

The only reason the Barn got this palyer is because UA wasn't pushing hard either just like CDD. If I was a UT fan I would not get upset about the Barn taking UA scraps. UT right now is in it for some of the top players in the southeast and some of the same players that UA is actually going hard after.

Larrys Locker provided some good info on recruiting... AL retains the highest percentage of instate 4/5 star recruits...something like 75% since 2002 if I remember correctly... AL is nothing like GA in regards to getting their instate guys...

The two areas that you might think UT could recruit that they can't are Alabama and Memphis.... Nothing is new there.

However, I seriously doubt that Bama will outrecruit UT in GA or even put the effort into doing it. Auburn has long had ties into south GA but less throughout the state than UT. Auburn's glory days were built on picking off FL recruits... not GA recruits.

In short, Bama and Auburn most likely will NOT get first pickings in GA over UT... and especially not with a guy named "Dooley" coaching at UT.

“Coach Thompson came by the school to visit with my coach,” Swain told InsideTennessee.com. “That was pretty cool that they came that far just to see me.”

“Tennessee is right behind Auburn for sure,” Swain said. “I want to come check out Tennessee and probably will go to camp there this summer.” Swain did get the chance last fall to take in the Rocky Top “Experience.”

“I came up for the Auburn game,” Swain said. “It was live; I had never seen a game that the atmosphere was so crazy. Knoxville is a lot bigger than Gadsden City, that’s for sure."

I was at that game against AU. That was not a great game to witness for a recruit. Fans didn't even stay the entire game, & several boo birds in the crowd. Hopefully, we get him for another official visit this fall. Its gong to be hard to pull this kid from AU.

It's hard to pull kids who commit to Auburn because of the family thing they work so hard to instill. They were one of the few schools that didn't have a single decommit last year. Coach Dooley looks like he is working on the same thing.
