This is Bama big remaining recruiting week for OV so if DWj would have missed this weekend then Saban would pull his scholly so quick.

he isn't coming now. Saban would pull the Bama offer so he has cancelled
Must be nice to have that kind of power over recruits. I guess a couple of NC rings will do that for ya.

Per JHops twitter, Woodson is now calling himself a soft verbal to bama....considering UT and the barn.

Soft verbal but is scared to visit due to Sabans puppetry. Huh, that doesn't seem very "soft" to me.

IDK. Maybe the threat made him reconsider his pledge? The whole thing is sketchy.

Actually we only have a few on OVs this week. And those are only ones not commited. Our biggest weekend will be in Jan. Alot of recruits coming in then.

In regards to DW everyone has felt he would not be apart of this class since the summer. J also just readon some other boards grades might make him a sign and place player. Have not seen that on the UA board I am on just something floating around.

Some have said it on here and I completely agree, if Milton wants to help this team down the road, I think it has to be at TE. And if that is the case, I think the transformation needs to begin this off-season. If he could get some TE reps next year behind Rivera, then his (with Hunter/Rogers) junior year could be sick. A catch first TE in, in a pass first offense. If he can learn to block and develop his foot work, I think it could be an upgrade over what I see him giving us.

Going after Woodson might make you think that Dallas will start out on the other side of the ball, or that maybe Meline or Milton has expressed interest in leaving?

Just curious.

I have heard a lot of folks say this about Milton, but he would have to pack on a lot of pounds of muscle to play TE, would he not?? TE's, even more than other receivers, have to block as well as catch the ball in traffic, and he seems a bit light to do that well.

Just spoke to Danny Woodson, has cancelled his visit to UT and will not take any other official visits other than Alabama.

James Bryant

Saban must have told him that he wasn't fat anymore...just big boned.

Matt Milton...

Guy played RB in HS not WR. He may end up being a great WR for us.

The reason people want him at TE is because he has the size to do it. He has not so far exhibited a real interest in blowing people up with blocking.

He is not a bust. He has another full season of not doing much before anyone can talk about him even being mildly disappointing.

He played quarterback in high school not runningback and it will be linger than just one more season before he should be labeled a bust.
