It doesn't make sense why we are not 25th. We have 2 4*, 10 3* and 2 others, while Miss ST has 2 4*, 9 3*, and 4 others. The only difference I see is they have 1 more recruit than we do.

That is the difference... It's a points game, at least that is how I always assumed it.

If we're not in the top 25 of those rankings then we're no worse than 26th...

Top 15 class is a given...people just need to have a little faith

Half of our 3 stars should turn to 4 when final rankings come out

thought you meant they updated the player rankings for a moment..... this team ranking is a waste of time atm.

Be cool be cool. Its real early and really shouldn't concern ourselves with this right now. Let's get some wins over UTM, UO and UF first and see all the silent commits and official visits we get. Build it and they will come.

Alabama: Top 10
Florida: Top 10
UGA: Top 10
LSU: Top 10
Auburn: Top 10
Tennessee: not even top 25.....this needs to change

if we are to compete in the SEC, finishing behind these guys isn't going to help our cause....I do like the recruits we have so far but we need to land bigger players IOT compete.....that being said, I think Dooley will finish with a top 15 class....though I pray he can somehow get us in the top 10

Have we reached the point in society where typing out, "in order to" has become too burdensome?

I think we barely break top 10 or just miss it honestly. Anywhere from 8-12 is my guess and has been for a while. I would be fine with any of those numbers. If it don't happen i'm still gonna be satisfied with the haul the coaches bring in.

USC at 13. I think they will drop. Some of the recruits that commit will drop because of PROBATION. And with Pat Haden running the AD dept now. Kiffy boy might need another job before long. Don't believe Pat will put up with his crap.

They will probably drop, but I doubt it will have much to do with the probation. Kiffin is a good enough snake oil salesman to fill up the spots they have available with quality athletic players, but they will still drop because of their limited number of scholarships coupled with the need for quantity and quality to bring in a highly rated class.

In other words, they will land fewer players with a higher avg stars rating than us this year.

IMO...of our current commits...Kerbyson, Coleman and Smith we'll get the bump

Of the commits I project us to get that aren't 4*'s yet...I see Johnson and Dallas getting the bump

Good grief! CDD has already proven he can recruit his a** off. He salvaged a top 10 class in Feb after having been on the job no time. He even snatched a couple of hot prospects away from other major programs. We WILL have an excellent class. Naysayers give us a break!:superman:

Kerbyson and Randolph I could see being four stars. Smith will also be a four star at some point.

Parker is going to be a great one but I don't see him moving up in star rating. I think he'll fly under the radar probably because of where he plays and the competition level. He has the talent to be a four star but I don't think the recruiting services will rank him there.

24 weeks till signing day. everyone be patient, i really believe we'll end up with a top 15 class. at least 6 or 8 or maybe more will end up 4 stars after their season ends !!! believe !!! :clapping: :rock: :dance2: :salute:
