come on gentlemen, have faith. It's a long way till signing day. This is Tenn. WE WILL have a top ten class when it's all said and done. Please be patient.

Plus they are not always right. We could have somebody now they rated as a three star that not only will play in the nfl, but will stand in canton one day.

I was looking at the schools that arent really known for being football schools, what in the world is going on down in chapel hill. UNC has 8 4*s, wow really UNC. I know butch davis is a heck of a coach but that just amazes me that they are pulling in kids of that caliber. I bet that they make a good run in mediocre ACC this year. Just goes to show you if they can pull them in I have faith CDD and company can!! GBO!

I'm really surprised that we aren't in the top 25.

How is Miss. State better along than us? Seems like we at least have a better class than them. I would hve put us in the 24 or 25 spot.

Scout.com has us in the 25th spot and I'm sure Rivals will have us close to there as well.

I know it's not that important, but recruits see that and it's nice to be one of those teams this early in the recruiting year.

Most of the Vols "needs" the staff is recruiting are historically not rated as highly as skill position recruits. If Tennessee finishes in the top 15 in recruiting it will be a great recruiting year, IMO. Top 20 would be very good.

I think this is true soley from the number of guys we will sign. We will try and get as many mid-term enrollees as we can and if i'm not mistaken, we were able to roll over 3 spots from last year. Will probably sign 27-28 when the dust settles which will get us in the top 15. I'm not sure the average * rate will be as great but ultimately, I don't care. I just want the coaches to go out there and fill the teams needs.
