I will ask this again, how in the world is this kid only a 3 star? His offer list is incredible, just like Turene. Did the lack of a Florida scout screw up the rankings that bad this year?

Why does it seem like Kiffin always wants 4 RBs in one class....

Skill players are flashy and ranked higher than linemen. Kiffins never had a steady job so all he ever does is go after a bunch of skill players to get a high recruting ranking. He lets the next coach worry about getting linemen. True story. :)

No. But that's what he posted in a thread about buck. I wondered the same thing too actually and was kind of surprised he threw that out there like that.

Allen's femur was broken in the first game of his junior year after he took a direct hit from a defender's helmet. He struggled some this year in the running game, finishing with 1,115 yards and 12 TDs on 207 carries (5.4 YPC) in 15 games. He also had 25 receptions for 420 yards and 4 TDs.

* edited rushing yardage

The paths through high school for lane and allen seem to be similar. Both were top RB talents in Florida and then were derailed by injury. They have similar size and speed, so who do you think is the best potential prospect? I would be interested to hear the opinions of all, especiall HG and anyone else that has knowledge of the florida football scene.

Anybody have an update on Allen? ESPN reported him visiting earlier in the week, but he did not show up on the Scout visitor's list this morning.

BTW, none of the recuiting services are showing UT in his list...

All I've read is it's lane or bust. Unless he becomes some mystery visitor for today, I wouldn't expect buck to be in Knoxville.

Was expected to visit this weekend, but didn't ever hear back from the coaches so he cancelled it. He has a couple of visits left so it looks like he will visit two schools this week. He says it will probably be Alabama and FSU. Those two schools join Florida, Auburn, and USF in his top 5.

Was an expected cut after Lane made it official to UT. We are done at RB. I'm thinking he will end up at USF.

Shame...if we had a few more spots to give I think this guy would have definitely be a take.
