He is a DB prospect.

He talks about playin DB on HawkeyeInsider

he's set a time table to commit starting with the end of the summer or the latest, two weeks into his Sr yr.

Legit Track speed
blazed a 4.41 at the Nike Combine earlier this year.

and would be a Tremendous Get for us.

Number 1 or 2 without seeing our campus? I wonder if it has anything to do with his other offers not being that great. We are the best offer he has.

His offers aren't terrible by any means. There are some Big 10 and Big 12 offers in there. But, then again, it's not great by any means.

Call me crazy but I am not exactly thrilled about this guy. It is early in the recruiting season. We are his only SEC offer. Why are we offering kids that MSU, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky should be
offering. It's quite simple. Dooley does not have much faith that we can attract higher caliber talent. I understand that UT is down right now, but we have the resources, history, and tradition to turn our lack of talent into a recruiting advantage. It is not like we are trying to sell these kids on Louisville's facilities. We are Tennessee! IMO, We may end up with a few 4 star players in the end, but I am affraid the majority of this years class is going to consist of 3 star players who are not going to contribute early. And about the "stars", I understand that there are always exceptions to the rule but four and five star players are clearly the better players and there is a reason that most of the premere colleges are offering them. Remember what Ed Orgeron said? When you sign a player you have him for 4-5 years. If he is not good enough to compete at the University of Tennessee, he is not getting an offer. I am not a fan of Eddy "O" but that is one thing I certainly agree with.
