Dawson probably was a Vol at one time when Skeeter leaked us the info. I just wonder if all the Kentucky pressure got to Dawson. It seems that Kentucky fans would accept a kid going to USC a lot more than if he had chose Tennessee. It could have been the coaches were only taking one more LB and Maggit was the first to commit, but I don't think that they would turn Dawson away.

usc because it was the lesser of two out-of-state evils--tennessee being a hated uk rival. But more likely he just got wowed by LA (!) and the usc mystique--they were kickin' it a few years ago, and kiffin also has some stone-cold recruiters. I would have thought that distance and the probation would have kept him closer,but it didn't...:hi:
