Haven't SGM, Fiji, and a bunch of others assured us that this staff is nowhere near the last staff in recruiting? Yet it seems like more an more recruits are listing UT along with other schools... where UT doesn't seem to fit.

Bama and UF are both recent NC's. Auburn is going this year. UT has been through alot of turmoil but this kid is taking a serious look.

Seems like someone knows how to recruit.

I don't think we'll get Robbie in the end, but it is great that we're in his top four along with two recent national champions and one potential national champion.

In my opinion, I think he'll go to Auburn.

Auburn wouldn't have dropped Lanier if they weren't confident about Therezie. Still, you never know what can happen when they take officials.

Therezie is going to Auburn. Finishing 2nd for a recruit is no different than finishing 120th.

WRONG if you had j Rose and Marcus Jackson would you want to wait for Caddy, No you would rather round out your class with J Hill, possibly Gabe, and a few others. They are definately ok at one certain position especiall with 4 years of 2 guys whom are 6' or above with sub 4.5 speed.

I'm sorry, which team are you talking about here? I'm assuming you're talking about Justin Rose but Marcus Jackson isn't considering Auburn

He might be referring to Marcus Roberson the safety that they really want bad. Who btw is higher on their board than Therezie. I have seen several Auburn peeps suggest they are slow playing RT waiting on MR.

Also do not forget that Auburn already has 1 safety in Swain commited and E Florence is the top safety, not yet commited but will next week, on their board. They have Rose commited for DB and hope to get K Frost also at DB.

But in regards to RT I believe he is 3rd on their board right now behind Florence and Roberson for safety.

You are correct. I did mean Roberson, but correct me if I am wrong but where is he a safety? He has the size of a shut down corner as does Rose. Not to mention they got 3 CB last year and next years AL crop is loaded. If he doesnt see the playing time here, then he never wanted to be a vol anyways.

As for being drunk, it was 2 AM, can I just be tired, dont be such a judgemental finger pointer, YOU :detective:

I would agree that Therezie is third behind Florence and Roberson but I think they will take all three. That's the main reason they dropped Lanier.

They have all but given up on Frost and were recruiting him as a WR anyway.

Also, they are recruiting Therezie and Roberson as CB's to go along with Rose. Swain and Florence are Safety's.

Told Scout his final four are Florida, Bama, Auburn and Tennessee.

"I've been to Auburn and Alabama. Coming up, I have Tennessee next weekend and then Florida right after that."

Tennessee not been thought of as a serious player for Therezie's services but the 5-10, 180 pound safety said that he's impressed with the Vols.

"I like the way their program fits me," Therezie said. "And I have a great relationship with Charlie Baggett. Coach Baggett and I just hit it off the first time we talked and we talk a lot."

Baggett was in South Florida to see Therezie earlier in December. Therezie is expecting another visit from Baggett early next month and will be in Knoxville either the second or third weekend in January.

As for why the Vols are a program that fits Therezie, much of it stems from opportunity.

"I played at a position where they have a real need and if you show up ready to play then you could get on the field early as a freshman," Therezie offered.

Corey Long, ESPN, has Therezie announcing at the Under Armour All American game tomorrow evening between "Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miami and Florida State." I still think Scout.com has it right. If Therezie announces tomorrow, there will be a UT hat on the table... and he may just pick it up. He is scheduled for an official visit this weekend.
