Coaches recruit players for their respected positions that they have been playing in HS. Whether its Off or Def. They rarely move players or intentionally try to put weight on a player inorder to move him. If he's a WR that's where he'll be. Clear will play TE. Once he gets to school, he'll get the proper diet and training to turn fat into muscle and slim down 10-15 lbs, which will give him more speed and quickness while making him stronger.

Has there been any news on his offer list? The last I checked his offers have been rather mild (Memphis and the like and that's about it). Guess we'll just have to hear how his camp goes.

Just a gut instinct he surprises many at camp. DP is really good this year.
I hope he does & blows up! He wants to strap on the power T & give it his all too, that's the ones I like the most. He plays against top notch competition, & I trust Bagget can coach him up. He could be the next Plaxico Burress on the field.

Just as long as he isn't off the field....

or he will explode with new muscle and become an OT. isnt that what most people think?

About Clear, yes. It's possible. Some are even saying he could be a DE or DT. In one video he says UT is recruiting him at DE or TE. This is all about Clear though.

Gallon definitely has the size that you can't teach.

I hope Derek Dooley and Company do not mess around with this kid like they did with Eric McClain. He seems to have alot of upside. Lets hope he gets his 40 time down so we can officially offer him. 6'5" 210 lbs is a good frame for a down field possession type receiver. With the depth we have at receiver presently, he is a redshirt option. Go get him coach!

I really hope UT offers this kid. He has a lot of potential. We're in a tough position considering our last class of WR's, but if he is willing to redshirt or fight for a spot, I'm happy to have him.

Jason Witten, Kevin Simon, Kevin Burnette, Adam Myers-White, Nevin McKenzie and Elix Wilson disagree.
