are we rooting for kids tests grades or for football? Im happy and proud of him off the field but on the field Myron RRolle was Terrible. you guys are and were fooled by high school ranking. He was a terrible playmaker and he was an avg tackler

 those sham all american lists... lucky for me, where im situated, Ive seen every single game FSU has played and Im not just reading an online bio

one career interception and anchored one of the worst defensive secondaries in america every yr he played.
HA! "laughable and idiotic" yea just like jumping to conclusion on recruits who havent been evaluated before summer camps

Well I guess it depends if you judge a person strictly for their on the field stats or their overall body of work on and off it. I am not saying he was great on the field, but that doesn't mean other people should not aspire to what he did. Just mo.

the off the field stuff, thats cool.
but going back to my original comment
football wise, I hope he's a lot better than Myron Rolle

:hi:

I hope Ronnie is like Derrick Brooks, great off the field and a beast on it

Luckily for me I grew up in south central Florida my entire life where a majority of our residents followed FSU so I've seen my fair share of Myron Rolle as well, considering every FSU game is televised.

Also you've completely missed my point on the rankings of recruits. Has Scout not ranked a good 500 players or so at least? I believe they have. Therefore my point was, there's a ton of those who've BEEN ranked that we're not in on. Since Scout has done their top 300 are those who havent been evaluated going to all of a sudden jump those who have been evaluated? I doubt it, because if that's the case they would've already been evaluated and therefore ranked.

And luckily for me I grew up in Clewiston, FL, 15 miles from Belle Glade, 20 miles from Pahokee, 20 miles from Immokalee, 30 miles from Ft. Myers/Cape Coral, and an hour from West Palm so I've probably seen more Division I players in my day than the majority of the posters on here. Therefore I'll let you continue questioning my ability to know what's going on and how to evaluate and spot talent, with no worries.

I really like the way this kid sounds, very smart kid with his head on right. Would love to land this kid! My brother went to Westlake with him so I'll see if I can get any info out of him about this kid.

It was nice to see that Michael Taylor wasnt putting down Tennessee & still says were a great school.

I dont care if this kid is a career second stringer. He would be a good addition to any football team. Also would go along way to mend the bad image we have had lately.

Ronnie Harris, Scout.com three-star cornerback from Atlanta-Westlake, Ga., showcased great coverage skills and speed. He was one of the smaller defensive backs, but didn’t back down from competition. He played physical and was a lock-down corner.

- Scout

He showed out this weekend in Tuscaloosa.

Harris followed up his MVP performance at the Tuscaloosa Nike Camp and jumped a 34.5-inch vert & ran a 4.49 at Ole Miss camp

and He's down to 6 schools:

So. Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Wake, Louisville, & Ole Miss

about us:
He said tennessee has a great medical center on campus that he likes alot

well nuts - if he was basing his decision on football and football facilities, we'd easily be #1 on that list. but if the decision is based on medical facilities, we're probably sitting #3 behind stanford and wake. joking aside, i still like this guy quite a bit and think we're in pretty good shape

According to the thebootleg.com, he's narrowed it to five.

“In no particular order, it’s Ole Miss, Tennessee, Stanford, Kentucky and Wake Forest.”

“Right now, the most contact is with Tennessee and Ole Miss, and also Kentucky,” he said. “Basically, my top five is who I talk to most. I get more mail from Ole Miss and Tennessee, but I’m speaking on the phone with everyone but Wake.

I think the kid could be solid at the next level. He may be smaller but the kid is pretty dang good. He doesn't back down at all and will deliever a hit and his speed is elite. He could be a terror in the return game. I wouldn't mind getting him.

I see this kids choosing us. Dooley seems to go after kids with a high GPA and good character. I see distance being a factor and Knoxville is only 3 hours for Atlanta. Us being the closest in his top five. I think we take 4 to 5 DB's

Yet again another kid that has no good college offers that we are recruiting because no one else good wants him. Dooley is really starting to remind me of Fulmer.

Show me the stars at Boise St. that Wilcox had? They might get one or two 3 star players there. Dooley likes smart kids that are athletic. Not punks that are going to be in jail. This kid is a great cover corner. You don't have to be a 5 star to be great in Wilcox's system.
