anyone seen him play ? I watched the vids thinking I would see a Blake Sims type explosive guy just runnin around playin QB but he was basically in the pocket making quick throws...

so Im not sure how he makes the transition to DB

Saw him play in the State Championship (which they won) .All Wilcox County does is throw. OL is in 2 point stance all game. That explains the Stats. They play Class A so competion isn't top notch. But never the less, a great athlete.

Doesn't want to play DB. Which is why he doesn't like UGA a lot anymore.

Its FSU or GT right now with FSU having the lead.

Oh, the misinformation floweth strong out of North Ave. UGA has only offered Marshall as a QB, but you are right that FSU does lead right now due to Bball.

Nick's fear is that he will get moved to defense by UGA. They won't promise him he will stay at QB.

Washaun Ealey is saying that he has committed to UGA fwit....this could send Lemay to Clemson or UT.

I know this kid and all of his family. Being from the same small town makes it pretty easy to know everyone. Nick is a very good all around athlete. What I can tell you from talking with his father is that he is receiving offers in FBall and BBall. FSU was in the lead due to the offer of allowing him a chance at BBall also. UGA didn't have a chance until they promised he would remain at QB. FWIW family is saying UGA. I guess we will have to wait and see. :birgits_giggle:

Hearing UGA also becasue they have agreed to the Qb thing and playing bball.....he must be a hell of a player for that agreement.

Not saying this because he is a friend of the family, but yes, he is one hell of an athlete!! Another piece of inside information. Lonnie Outlaw was just signed with UGA, Lonnie is the cousin of Nick Marshall. Outlaw is the guy that was catching all the passes made by Marshall when UGA was invited to Wilcox County High School to visit Marshall. I can’t say Georgia wouldn’t have signed Outlaw if he wasn’t Nick’s cousin. I wouldn’t go that far. But it certainly made it sweeter for Georgia to go ahead and do it. They can tell Nick, ‘Hey, you’ll be able to throw to Lonnie again one day at Georgia and get back that Wilcox connection.’ It had to be in the back of Georgia’s minds and wouldn’t make much sense if it wasn’t.

according to scout, Marshall is not closed minded when it comes to playing DB.

UGA has not contacted him since LeMay chose Bulldogs...

Since the May eval. period began,

This is a top 10 qb. We need to put a full court press since Lemay has picked UGA, he is ours for the taking. This kid is amazing, watch the film of the championship game, he is ALL QB.

according to UGA Rivals article, Marshall will decide soon between FSU & UGA.

still isnt sure if he plays either football, basketball or both.
