I spoke to his coaches the other day. They said this guy is an amazing athlete. That he was very excited the day the UT offer came in. They said Bama is the team to watch out for with him because they already had other kids at the school and thus seem to have an in with the kids on the team.

He is the QB this upcoming year. Coaches said he is real smart. They run a Tony Franklin inspired offense.

I asked if they had any problems with Kiffin or his staff they said no that they admired them and they were some of the best in the biz. So I think we are off to a good start with this kid.

Next time I'm at chick-fil-a or the waho and I see a giant who makes me quiver in my tassled loafers, I'll initiate the stalking sequence. We'll have email address and telephone # listed asap. Just joking. Actually, I'll hand him my UT hat with a couple of rolled up franklins.

Just in case you were saying I was stalking. I was his coaches' instructor for the day in a teaching seminar. Just pure luck they were in my group.

Tennessee - "Coach (Ed) Orgeron and their new staff, they're great. There has been a lot of controversy around them, but I need to go up there and form my own opinion of them. I need to have my own experience there."

Seriously? Isnt this guy supposed to be a Top 3 Pro-Style QB in '11? Thanks for the info man!

Well, he played WR last year. And they said we are "trying him out" at QB. It is a competition. They expect great things because of his height, smarts, and speed. However, they said it is a big ?. He is a sure bet Div 1 WR. He is just overall an amazing athlete. We have not told him he can play QB for us. We offered him as an athlete/WR and will watch him this year as QB.

I wasn't saying that at all. I live practically across the street from North Gwinnett and the football players are in my neighborhood every afternoon playing pick-up games. The football players walk around the shopping area like they own the place. Given how good they'll be this year...I'd say that's about right.

He's never started a game at QB before. He was a back-up QB, but was transferred to WR about half way through the season when the main WR went down with an injury. In three games, he put up ridiculous stats.

Just watched him play against my high school. He was never under center so it was hard to judge his footwork, but it seemed to me like he had a really long release. He throws a pretty ball though. Two plays that stands out to me were when he threw a 55ish yard bomb for a touchdown that hit the receiver in stride and when he threw a fade in the endzone right over our corner.

They ran a lot of options, but i never really saw him in the open field so it's hard to judge him as an athlete

I find it hard to believe that this many top programs have offered him a scolly with only 3 good games. Is this true? And Im not into 40 times but if he's not being recruited as a QB then his 4.9 forty time isnt gona cut it as a WR in the SEC

He will prolly end up as a TE. He will be rated as a very high 4star or maybe a 5star. He can play...

LV did he really only play half a season though? I havent seen any film and he looks like an athlete but dont we need a bigger sample size than that?
