11 Georgia Players Have Been Arrested Or Cited

What can I say? UT is ultimately in the spotlight of the SEC. Meyer and Spurrier are stirring things up from their schools, but Tennessee is ultimately the team that is expected to dominate the SEC this year, making a run almost on the level of what Auburn did last year.

The media would rather hear Spurrier talking crap than learning about his players getting arrested. That crap can be found in 80% of the major programs in the country.

Each incident should be dealt with fairly and objectively. Just because we've had a rash of problems does not mean we should tighten the belt unfairly on the next player who messes up.

I'll say it again; I don't think fist fights are even in the same realm as larceny (SC) and illegal drugs (UGA).

Look at this from a parents stand point.

You've got an 18 year old son.

What would you rather hear he has done? Gotten into a fight or got busted for stealing or doing drugs!!!

That is a no-brainer folks.

If we had 11 kids who had gotten busted for drugs then I'd say the program is out of control. As it is, the last kid who failed a drug test, James Banks, is gone. It's as simple as that. He was given a chance and he didn't make good on it and he is gone. So, to say that coach doesn't suspend is not right.

As in every area of society, the punishment should fit the crime.
