Noles247.com caught up with his uncle, Jesse Carradine, for the latest in Cornellius' recruitment. Jesse has been his nephew's guardian since Cornellius was a toddler. Jesse is handling Cornellius’ recruitment as his nephew focuses on his school work.
“He has talked to me a few times this week about the USF visit,” said Jesse. “He’s wants to get a closer look at the football program, the campus, what kind of education he can get, things like that. He’s never been to their campus.”
The other team vying for his services is Florida State, and Jesse says Tank is close to setting a visit with the Seminoles.
“I talked to Coach (D.J.) Eliot," Carradine said. "It looks like its going to be the 27th of next month (November).”
“There’s some schools creeping in like Ohio State, Illinois, Kentucky, Arkansas and Alabama, but I think he’d rather go to school in Florida,” he said. “He might take another visit (beside USF and FSU), but I doubt it very seriously.”
