"What kind of competition is this against?? I don't know the LA classification system very well. I know that they have City leagues and what not right??"

Yeah, from my view here in Baton Rouge I was about to say that Patterson at 3A is not our biggest, but it is big enough. But it looks like Lumberjack is even closer to the action for keeping us posted. Hilliard blood should be taken seriously.

Yeah Orange, Got y'all covered with information as you need. I actually played HS football with the Hilliard's (Curtis & Dalton). He can run over, around or by a defense...definately Kenny is worth keeping an eye on.
The only thing is he being the Top Spohomore in the nation all eyes are on him. Good Luck with recruiting.

thought I would bump this..

Blur still loves our chances.

Would be huge to get him and Anthony Johnson from LA.

That would be nice. I wonder how much time coaches have spent in evalutating him since they're already behind for this years class evaluationg.

they are not in the top 4 because they have shown no interest...but that is about to change....if Tennessee showed interest and they offer.....I'd say the only competition would be USC or Bama...

I love hearing kids just waiting on an offer. Looking at the videos this kid is a beast! I'd like to to see him wearing O&W in 2011.

Good news. Thanks for clarifying it, Blur.

From tigerdroppings. He is #2 on top 10 2011 Louisiana Players...

#2. Kenny Hilliard/RB/Patterson
- Nephew of Dalton Hilliard. Most years would be #1 in state. Will be another 5 star candidate. All-state as a freshman and sophomore. Great vision, agility, cutback ability, and power.

Offer him NOW!!!!!!!!

One of the main attractions was rising junior Kenny Hillard of Patterson, Louisana. The reigning 3A offensive player of the year, stands out among the crowd phyically. Hilliard was near the middle of the pack in testing, but in individual drills he flourished. He has the chance to be a special player if he continues to work hard.

Trovon Reed was the biggest name there, but the best receiver during the one on ones was Jarvis Landry.

This class of 2011 wideout ran the best routes, he displayed very good hands, he got great separation, and he showed very good body control. He has large hands and he plays bigger than his 5-foot-11, 186 pound body would lead many to expect. He gets off the ball well and really sinks his hips when getting in and out of his breaks. Landry is not blazing with speed but he plays fast and he can make plays. He was the top receiver on Sunday.
