'11 MI RB Justice Hayes

I totally disagree Ill Will. I think the fact that we are still so high in it and he HASN'T visited yet, shows just how much of a shot we have. Instead of using our facilities and campus to try to catch up, we're going to use them to pull even further ahead I think. If we're this high on his list now, imagine what we'll be after he gets here.

not to get into this again, but notre dame has a nicer campus than UT (having been to both) and i am assuming the athletic facilities are comparable (never been inside UTs)

even with the new weight room thats being built and the neyland renovations??

ha, not sure about the weight room but notre dames new athletic complex is only four years old. Notre Dame Official Athletic Site

as far as the stadiums go, neyland is obviously bigger but i think both leave much to be desired. however, you can feel a lot of history and tradition when you visit both, which means something.

Athletic complexes are like computers bro. They are obsolete after a couple years if you don't upgrade them.
Looks like we just upgraded.

PAINT THIS on the ROCK IF YOU ARE IN KNOXVILLE!

"The Vols need Hayes to bring Justice to the rest of the SEC!"

Make the T in Justice a power T...would be SICK!

I think we need to paint it for Pat Martin more than anyone. He's the one that's been recruiting the hardest for us. Also, he mentioned it earlier in the summer on TSS asking: 'Yall gon paint the rock for me?' I think we should show him some love & spray it up for him. That would go ahead & lock em up 4 sho.

I can't argue with that.

thinking on things, I can live with having Tom Smith as the only RB in this 11 class.

esp. If it means getting another OL , DT or Speedy DB.

I agree with you. I like Hayes, but I'm not going to lose any sleep if we don't get him. I personally think that we need some more help at CB. After Evans we don't have any proven corners.

Really all I see in Hayes is another David Oku and now that we aren't likely gonna get the combo of him and Arnett Ive lost a little interest.

Na he's better than Oku. He could be an every down back with the skills of an APB although I think he'll be used more of a slot reciever/RB. He's gonna be good man and that's not discrediting Oku at all b/c I think starting this yr he's going to be a big player for us. If utilized properly Oku could be a big part of our offense. Would love to get Hayes.

Our back field is going to have to be versatile with QB's that don't have tons of experience. Hayes is an obvious take even if we have Smith.

I guess we will see. I would still take Hayes, but I don't think he's a make or break in this class. We have a lot bigger concerns than tailback. Also good tailbacks come along every year.

I fully agree with you. Our depth and strength at RB is good with only 1 addition this year. We need a lot of OL, DL, LB, TE and CB and our priorities should be for those positions.

yea, I can agree with only taking 1 RB too. that'd be find by me.

but it looks like we are wanting a scat/APB/slot guy in this class. seems Hayes, Buie, Morris, and Seymour are our targets.

Could you see us offering Bryson if we miss on those guys?

That would make sense, that way when you get a comit from Hayes, he could be a slot receiver/rb and its kind of a 2 for 1 special.
