I think he did it as a joke and then realized that he may get Hoke in a little trouble since it would have been a violation. That is probably why he deleted it.

Arnett really likes playing people. Remember the pre-commitment day videos?

Seems CDD is headed up to Michigan. Hopefully it's just a courtesy checkup visit and has nothing to do with his seemingly new found interest in UM under their new coach.

Holy CRAP! Check dudes acceleration at the 1:15 mark. He slips but when he gains control he takes 2-3 steps and leaves dude. He has LONG arms. He might not be the biggest guy at this point and time, but he is wide across his shoulders and back, meaning he could carry more weight. Also means he might not be finished growing. This guy is AMAZING. 1 more thing.... He looks as if he's not trying which is a DIRECT sign of greatness IMO.:bow2::bow2:

Good thing of Dooley to go pay him a visit in my estimation...don't let anything slip through the cracks and make him even start to waiver.

Why would Dooley go to Saginaw if there is nothing to be concerned about? I think this is a good move on Dooley's part, but he evidently felt he needed to go and visit.

Dooley works to make it known that every kid is still a top priority...committed or not. I think this is just part of that process.

What new found interest?

I follow recruiting as close as anyone and haven't seen anything other than a bunch of message board posters saying "I bet he's interested now that UM has a new coach"...there has been nothing from Arnett to even hint that he has a new found interest

Some of you need to get a grip and quit dissecting and contorting every little thing that comes up so that it's something you're worried about

"New found interest" is probably a poor choice of words. I don't believe Arnett has any interest in going to Michigan. However, the new staff up there will likely put the full court press on him and I'm sure Dooley knows that.

I'm not "worried" in the slightest and I said in my previous post I like the fact that Dooley is visiting Arnett. But to think there is "no concern" whatsoever is naive. There is concern and Dooley is addressing it.

Well maybe you should follow it a little more closely. Right after Michigan hired Brady Hoke Arnett blew up his Twitter with news about UM and Hoke. Talked about it being a great hire, etc.

I said new found interest more in lines of meaning he is more interested in them with their new coach and is mentioning them much more than he did when they had Coach Rodriguez.

My sentiments as well. I'm not too worried, either. Most likely, this is just a pop-in to get quick face time, go over offensive schemes/plans for him, etc. Probably Chaney or Baggett is doing with Dooley.

Maybe you should get your facts straight...the only thing on his Twitter about Hoke was that he had been contacted by Hoke....but it turns out that was just Arnett messing with people:

I'm not worried at all. Never once said he wouldn't be a Vol. He will be. I just posted some additional information about CDD visiting Arnett. There obviously is some concern or they wouldn't be visiting his home in Michigan.

I hadn't seen the part about it all being a joke, but as you proved there was obviously plenty of mention of Michigan on Arnett's Twitter account.

One joke tweet is hardly plenty of mention...and regardless, it was a joke...that pretty much voids it of anything worth being worried about...

We...as a fanbase...have got to learn to relax about this stuff...I know the past few years have been tough and we've seen a lot of flakiness in recruiting but some of us are taking this to an extreme...

The visit to arnett is just an in-home to touch base with more than a phone call...there's nothing more to it...end of story
