Tennessee offered him last week and he's supposed to be visiting sometime this month per the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Clark is interesting. Did UT offer him as an OL or DL? He has a ton of mid-major offers, and then UT and USC. Somebody must see something in him.
The coaches really seem to be hitting up the Cincy area. I'd love to see them get a boy from Finneytown!

2.5 will make it in with decent test scores but the gpa makes me think the test scores might not be so good. if i recall correctly rissean broussard had a C average and wasnt going to qualify which is why he is not at la tech i think. i also remember dj hunter who never got here because of gun charges or something had a 2.5 and he was from the ohio area so you can never be quite sure.

Update on Clark...

http://http://www.bearcatlair.com/home-news/clark-trims-list-to-six

"I was down at Tennessee to work-out a little bit, and I'll be going back next month because I didn't get to see everything. I'll be going to Ohio State this weekend, and I want to head up to Michigan State at some time as well."

"I cut my list down to six schools. They are Cincinnati, Indiana, USC, Michigan State, Tennessee and Ohio State."

I've heard his Top 2 are Tennessee and Ohio State and I dont see OSU offering him.

The only other 2 teams that are legit factors are Cincinnati and Michigan State.

He won't end up at Indiana and I dont think USC has talked to him once since they offered him.

Honestly, I'm shocked at some of the offers he's picked up.

MH, where do you think this guy stands on our board in comparison to Richardson/Kerbyson/DeBell/Crowder/etc? Is he a take at this point?

I really dont know. I guess since they offered he'd be a take at this point. No way he'd be in the same ballpark as a Richardson, Kerbyson or Debell IMO.

Personally I've never been impressed with him. He plays at a really small school and when I've seen him he didn't look to be very athletic or in that great of shape. Definitely a project. I guess schools like his size and potential if he has a strong work ethic and can drop 30 pounds once he gets into college.

While he hasn’t talked with Vols coach Derek Dooley, he says he has a good relationship with offensive line coach Harry Hiestand. “I got to hang out with him for a bit and he’s cool,” he said.
“I love the indoor practice facility there,” he said. “And the stadium is amazing. It holds over 100,000 people and that kind of blew me away.”

He was at camp this month and will be back for another visit in July.

He says USC, Tennessee, and Cincy are recruiting him the hardest.

If Ohio St. offers he sounds like he's gone. If not..

On another note, has any recruit in the country come out with a final list that didn't include UT in the last week?

Finneytown offensive tackle Donavon Clark (6-4, 292) took an unofficial visit to Tennessee last week. Despite holding over 20 offers the three-star linemen has narrowed his list to Cincinnati, Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State (no offer yet), Tennessee, and USC.

Cincy is more of a factor than Michigan State is. USC has no interest in taking him. OSU wont offer. He'll end up at a place like Indiana when all is said and done unless Tennessee really would take him.
