'11 OH QB Braxton Miller

I live in Ohio and get to watch him play in the same Conference as my former HS. He is definitely a difference maker...WayneHS is nearly unbeatable without him but the last two seasons he has had season ending injuries. He's fragile!

Everyone here has him going to OSU and Wayne has traditionally funneled kids to the Buckeyes....it should be a lock for them especially with Pryor leaving soon.

Not sure why we would want him, unless he moves to receiver

it would be nice to get a qb like tee martin again and for 4 years he was awesome ,sure he wasnt peyton manning your alls favorite ,he didnt leave tennessee with all the records and 13,000 yards but he did go 22 out of 23 at usc jr and he could throw the ball perfect way down the field and he had many runs of 30 and 40 yards or more where he left everyone in the stadium going wow and did i forget he was qb for the first bcs national tital game and the only one ut has in my 40 years of life,i still remember the long pass down the right side of the field to pearless price for a td against fsu .but i would be happy with another heath shuler he ran quite a bit not near as much as tee but he didnt stand still and let them drill him if know body was open he took off instead of throwing the ball at the linemens feet for an intentional grounding likeyton and the pocket passers with know speed ,but im shock in the nfl peyton has done alot of running to keep from getting sacked if he had only knew how to do that while in knoxville tennessee might have had 3 ncaa titals in the 90,s

Are you saying Peyton sucked in college, Tee was better and now Peyton is a scrambler for the Colts?

Make that a third Vol from lovely Dayton, Ohio. I have pure hatred of Braxton... Centerville Elks alum here

I watched Braxton start for two years and have also played basketball against him. Do not get me wrong, he is a great athlete, but his rating to this point on all scouting services are extremely overrated.

Guys I'm telling you we are going to be running somewhat of a spread. There are a few on here that know what I'm saying b/c they have watched highlights and such of Purdue's offense under Chaney, but it really does involve multiple WR's sometimes with no RB with a faster/quicker QB. We already had one of the best QB's signed in this class and I'm pumped as anything hoping he'll turn out good and I'm just as happy to get Rogers as anybody, but Chaney is really high on Nance and if you watch some of his highlights you'll see that he runs a similar offense in HS and he's semi-fast running a 4.7. Also if you watch any of Dooley's offense from La Tech he uses the QB in ways that he must be mobile, the wildcat is also shown on there. We all know that Dooley kept Chaney b/c they both run similar offensive styles, Dooley even stated it in his breakfast the other morning. We might run somewhat of a pro-style or be based out of it, but guys I'm thinking we're going to be seeing a little bit of a different offense we're not used to seeing on the hill. My 2 cents tho.

Good site here showing the differences and some film.

Is Braxton a pro-style or dual-threat?? If we start running a spread-option, I'm going to vomit. "Multiple" is fine, but option I hate.

Hey, I'm a Dayton VOL too...unfortunately! Went to Fairmont...I totally agree with you on Braxton, WAY overrated and totally injury prone.

I've seen him many times since his freshman year. Completely overated prospect. I've said it for years. National #1 QB is an absolute joke. The guy has so many flaws in his game I dont even know where to begin. And yes, he is an extremely brittle player and unfortunately for him I think he will stay that way in college because he just does not have a very good frame.

Lol, he said it was between Ohio State and UF so i thinks it pretty obvious.
Don't think UF really was that involved after Driskel's verbal....UF will focus on Ely,Randall,Sousa or kid from Marlyand/DC(can't remember name) for the last QB in this class.

Smart Football: What might the University of Tennessee's new offense look like?

Really?

So Dooley recruiting TEs heavily and telling everyone he prefers a 2-3 TE set involves us running a spread too? Wow, slowest spread offense, ever.

Jim Chaney has said it will be very similar to last year’s offense, mostly just different terminology.
