#11 Tennessee Vols -vs- #3 Pittsburgh Panthers Game Thread

Pretty much the last 3 or 4 fouls of the half were bad. In fairness though, the refs missed 3 or 4. Pitt is fouling more than they are getting called for sure though.

pretty much this, Harris got away with a a couple that I saw. We would be hurting if he had 3 fouls for the second half

You know the foul calls are pretty bad when Bilas comments that we have 14 fouls and they have 5.

yep they move screens all game, but we can't i guess. they're the #3 team at "home" refs, they don't need all this help.

Dykes said if this score holds up, it will be the most impressive win of the season so far by any team.

Heard that as well...would love to hear that some more. As of right now, though, definitely have to say UConn has the most impressive win(s) of the year to this point.

Start of 2nd half will tell us a lot!! Make no doubts about this and put this out of reach!

UT needs to turn up the D in the second half because they will not keep shooting such a high percentage.

Big second half.

Everyone can say it is a neutral court game, but the fact is Pitt did not have to travel for the game and the arena is full of their fans. Doesn't matter that this isn't Pitt's gym on campus. It is a road game for us.

Yes, everyone realizes this. UT knew this going in. Not a surprise.

This will actually give me something interesting to read while deer hunting.

Great job by our D so far. A couple of those moving screen calls were awful.

I'm still pretty upset our academic side didn't clear Maymon for today. I wonder if that was a dig at Pearl?

First few minutes of the 2nd half will be crucial. If Pitt gets some momentum we will be in for a major fight. If we keep the momentum we may be able to break their spirit and keep it on ice.
