I'm not sure how close he is to an offer, but the coaches told him to come back for a visit to see the classes and what not.

Sounds like to me if they offer he would more than likely committ on the spot.

Any word on his performance at camp?

Give me Drew, Jesse Hayes and Antoine and I say we're set at DE for this class...

A stud, a solid guy with stud potential and a raw player with great measurables would make for a pretty solid class at that position

I think Antoine is way to undersized to project as a DE in college.

Also, I hate to say it but Jesse Hayes is so terribly overated IMO. I've seen him since junior high and he's always had hype around him because of his "name". The only thing going for him is he does have decent size. But in all honesty he is a very average football player.

Antoine doesn't remind you of Harylson or even Bohanon?

Also, isn't Hayes really athletic but raw? If so he's very much like Antoine in that way and his high rating from Rivals is probably based on name alone...is he related to someone well known?

His dad coaches for the Bengals and I am assuming he played in the league?

From the little I've seen of Antoine, he just doesn't look like he has the frame that a guy like Harylson or Bohanon had coming out of high school. Not as broad looking to me at least.

Hayes is very raw. As for athletic, I guess he has decent athleticism, but quite honestly he wasn't even in the same ballpark as some of the other Moeller guys on their defense last year like Marcus Rush or Kendall Walker in my opinion.

Yes his father and uncle are both assistant coaches for the Cincinnati Bengals. I think his name has absolutely led him to be overhyped.

According to the new article on TOS he's currently between 6'1" and 6'2" and weighs about 230. He was also recently recorded at 4.53 in the 40 and had a 33 inch vertical. Sounds like a perfect OLB to me.

Has he ever played Linebacker before? blur and some of other guys were pumping him up to be some kind of unblockable 6'foot'4 250ish manchild at Defensive End.

he has a 43 inch vertical. that 33 is a typo.

at that combine, he did the vertical 3 times to make sure it wasn't a fluke and all 3 of them were over 40 inches.the last time he did it was for some TV station that arrived late and after he'd already performed all day iirc.

I've seen people consistently say he was about 6'4 250. Seen it on here, On Volquest, and other places. That was up until this week when it's been proven he's 6'1 227.

His film is good, but a lot of high school players that are good players have great film. Dont understand why only an MTSU offer if he's so dominant...?

I'm pretty sure I've seen orangeblur and a few others totally overstate this kid's size.

Kid needs to start camping then ASAP. Dunaway has started camping a few places and picked up some solid offers. I know Cincinnati offered him at their camp last week.

Ah...well he clearly wants to come here...I personally think he's worth the risk if those measurables are accurate...but nobody pays me to make these choices
