"Well, to be honest with you, I got my first one when I was in the ninth grade. Then it got to five or six, and I thought it was going to stop at ten," Grant said. "But, you know, I still wonder how, but I'm not going to question it. I'm just going to continue with my talents and my abilities and just to play the game because at any given time anything the Lord has given you can be taken away. So, I don't question anything He does, I just thank Him for it."
"I'd say my ability to be able to read and attack. From being able to watch film -- I study film twenty-four, seven, to be honest with you. For me just to be able to get on the field and see different techniques that the other team has brought to the table," Grant added. "And for me to able to get out there and still be able to check my calls and even check out of my calls and to check into something else. Coach may have called this play but he gives me the responsibility to check out of the play, just in-case the situation changes."
On Tennessee: "They have a big stadium. I've been to the stadium, that's a great stadium. I like the country a lot. It's a nice little country place. It seems like they have a lot of nice restaurants in the town," Grant said dissecting his visit. "As I recall, it was a nice little hole in the wall restaurant, which are all the good restaurants usually."
"Early playing time and that's about it. I want to play my freshman year."
