"The Florida and Clemson visits wowed me because they were a little bit different," he said. "I mean, Florida, that stadium is huge. That practice was very intense and they had an oversized weight room and training room."

"The Clemson practice was very calm," he stated. "It was real fun down there, but quiet down there. They had a big stadium too, one of the biggest stadiums. It went very well with them. Overall, I felt like I was at home at both Clemson and Florida. It looks like a lot of their guys for both schools are seniors and they'd give me a shot to play."

Visited UF, Clemson, VT and UVA over 4 day period and apparently came away very impressed with Clemson and UF. Need to get on this kid hard.

how is it that duke continues to be one of the first schools in on kids. i want theyre recruiting coordinator on this staff. its not roper is it?

"Tennessee has been sending me a lot of letters and coach Chaney has just asked me to give them a look," Grant offered. "I will probably get a chance this summer to make it down there."

In addition to trying to see the Vols this summer, Grant plans on keeping up with them this fall.

"I am going to watch them some on television and maybe get down there for a game," Grant said. "I want to see the new coaching staff work and get a feel for what they are doing."

Positive statements, hopefully Tennessee shows up for its national tv'd games. Its one thing to lose on national tv, but another to get stomped.

He didnt even mention us when asked about visits he plans on taking in his AMP vid on Rivals. I think we have Major ground to make up

We're late on a lot of guys. Major ground to make up. Not impossible, but the staff really has to impress with more than just some mail.

VT and AL are two faves and will be tough to beat. I think VT is on top, but he won't say as much. I was told by a respected source this kid is the Top LB on Oregon and AL boards in the country period. He's that good. I'll ask him his interest in UT which he's never brought up to me later today, I'll pass along what he says.

His Top 3 is rumored to be VT,Bama and NC. Not sure what happened with UF but at one time he was really high on the gators. Long time to NSD but IMO he's VT to lose.

a Hokie guy on another board says Grant is a UF silent but is only keeping things open so coaches still continue to come to the school so his teammates can still get looks

god i hate florida... we HAVE to stop this.. i cant stand florida and pricks coming into our recruiting turf and taking the talent... i mean pegan lives a hour away from neyland stadium and he is going to florida..
