Thourogood, 6-2 and 22 pounds, knows the feeling.

He wants to play quarterback at the next level but come schools are looking at him as an athlete.

“It’s going pretty good,” said Thourogood, who says he has 15 offers. “Right now I’m just trying to get my list down. It’s hard because we haven’t even started the season yet. The hardest part about the process is trying to figure out who’s just telling me what I want to hear and who’s being real.”

Yeah, VT is the likely leader. He trimmed his list down to 3 more than a month ago and should be making his decision soon.

"He has definitely got it down to three," (Coach) Scott said. "Not in any particular order, they are West Virginia, Virginia Tech and UVa. Those are basically his top three right now and he is talking with his dad and talking with the coaches and comfortable with those three. He is getting closer to a decision."

From what little I've heard about it, I think that if anybody could pull him from Tech it would be WVU, but I highly doubt it.
