Do you think he will be less prone to violence at that age, especially when so many children that get locked up come out the same or worse?

That's difficult to say. I can't predict the future.

I just don't like the idea that a series of bad decisions made by a 11 has to end two lives.

Also as a Christian I try to be forgiving and believe in redemption. Especially when it comes to children.

The elephant in the room is how unfit and irresponsible are the gun owning parents where their kid could access a loaded shotgun?

The owner of the gun has to serve jail time. I do not think the kid can be fixed, as there has to be something fundamentally wrong for him to commit murder at his age. The Bible also talks about wicked children and how it is better for society to cast them outside of the society. God can forgive him, but while on Earth we must do everything we can to protect others from him.

I agree 100%. What the kid did was horrible but at only 11 I don't think his life should be thrown away too. If the kid can be fixed then he should be given a second chance at life once he's an adult.

One of my favorite MST3K episodes. You ever catch Mike, Kevin, and Bill do a Rifftrax live show in Nashville? It's a blast

Certainly one of the best episodes, along with Squirm and The Touch of Satan (chosen just off the top of my head).

Never seen them live. I bet it's awesome.

I got the entire MST3K and Rifftrax collection. Giant Spider Invasion, Boggy Creek 2, The Final Sacrifice, Mitchell, Final Justice, Squirm, Space Mutiny, and Hobgobblins are personal favorites of mine.

They come to the Belcourt in Nashville 3 or 4 times a year for live riffing. You will have the time of your life.

Boggy Creek 2 was hilarious too.

I'll have to go see them live if I ever get the chance.
