Herbstreit pretty much just said that, if OSU wins vs a now top 10 team next week, there really isn't much possibility of a 1-loss Auburn - based on the conference championship game against #5 Missouri alone - being able to jump OSU in all 3 polls.

If a two loss Stanford and South Carolina can jump a one loss Baylor then anything is possible.

I hope not

Im ready for a NC that does not include a SEC team

If UT doesn't make it, I don't care if another does

I'm tired of the SEC, SEC crowd

Not sure Ohio State is going to beat mich st. Even with a win I'm not sure they can stay ahead ofa one loss sec champ. Now if they come out and destroy Michigan State then it's a different story.

I don't root for the Yankees in the World Series or the Redskins in the Super Bowl. Not overly concerned if an SEC school not named TN makes the NCG.

I don't remember any team SEC going on when we were upset in 2001.

What makes me sick is that if two of the top three teams lose, then Alabama will be in the national title....again....without even playing for a conference title. I could def see Ohio St. not being able to do anything against a stout MSU defense. And Auburn has been living a dream for the past month or two and could screw this up. Holy crap, if a loss by them in the SEC championship let's Alabama play for and win a national title, nobody will care about how the Iron Bowl ended. :yuck:

It's not two of the top three that have to lose, it's #1 and #2. OSU and Auburn losing would result in a FSU vs Mizzou BCSNCG. You have nothing to worry about as far as Bama goes.

FSU goes down to duke...
OSU goes down to MS...
And Mizzou beats Auburn...
Does this mean bubba and mizzou in NC?

If FSU and OSU both lose, Bama will play either Auburn or Mizzou. But what are the chances that FSU loses to Duke?

Everybody outside of Alabama would be absolutely pissed to see Bama back into it again.

The 2012 title game happened so you can't count out Alabama.

I just don't want to see OSU. Who honestly wants to watch them get their asses beaten again in the title game?
