I really do think that the season between the last game and NSD is some of the most exciting times of the year.

People who follow recruiting are invested in the program in a totally different way. It's so nice to know that these guys were leaning other ways sometimes, and then you remember the day that they committed. Like Jennings, I remember when we got him, A QB from Blackman, TN. And I remember where I was when we landed Hurd, and Dobbs, and when Kamara switched to us.

Recruiting is just a fun thing to follow. So many ups and downs. Sometimes things go your way, sometimes they don't. Sometimes a player you don't understand why they got an offer surprises you on the field, and then some players become busts.

I love recruiting season.
