6'4/185
Kennesaw, GA

Just committed to Tennessee.

Lower ranked guy, but really blew up this year. Averaged almost 23 points and nine rebounds this year.

Had offers from College of Charleston, Cincinnati, and Ole Miss. Was starting to garner attention from Memphis, Alabama, and Florida State.

Very athletic. Can attack the rim well and has an improved jumper. He can also play point guard and is a solid ball handler.

I LOVE UT BASKETBALL!!

NOT SO MUCH UT FOOTBALL THOUGH!!!

Same. Never seen a game at RTL but I will probably have the shakes by then because of lack of basketball so I reckon I'll go this year.

I love it. Have been going the past 4 years, and it's always just great. You get to see all your favorite players, sometimes Lofton, Houston, Slay, and Watson, and the games are fun. EXCELLENT free entertainment for the summer!

I'm starting to wonder if chievous or Reese isn't going to be hear. There's a lot of bodies at the 2&3 next year.

I have only seen Chievous play at RTL, but he may not be up to par for the SEC. Only because I don't have much confidence in his offensive game. The good thing is that he has a solid frame and size, he definitely looks like an SEC player, but his skills don't seem to match. He could definitely contribute if he's a good defender. Again, I wouldn't know because I've only seen him at RTL. Maybe he's gotten better offensively by now too.

Bottom line, I think he's got some good upside, but not playing organized ball most of his life may have done him in for a realistic shot at getting significant PT in a major conference.

Right now for 2013 (we'll add somebody, but let's pretend we don't):

We have for our backcourt

Golden (senior)
Washpun (junior)
Moore (sophomore)
McRae (senior)
Edwards (senior)
Reese (sophomore
Richardson (junior)
Chevious (sophomore)

Eight guys so far for UT at 2013 in the backcourt. I imagine Cuonzo wants six wing players. And with the amount of guys Martin is recruiting for 2013 at the wings, I have to imagine three other guys will leave (Reese, Washpun, and Chevious would be by best bet) to leave in the next calender year. That gives him five. So I'm curious to see how the numbers work out.

Exactly my point.

And add Landry since he is committed for 13'

I to saw Chievous quite a bit in the RTL last year. My evaluation of him was that he was night and day difference between him and Richardson. Chievous looked much better. I was kind of shocked to see him redshirt because I thought that he could get some minutes this year. Chievous' dad was all business when it comes to school. He kept him out of the AAU circuit for some time so he could focus on grades. I'm betting that he had an agreement with CCM to redshirt when he committed.

That same assumption was made for washpun and it turned out to still be true after a year.

I just don't see how he can't dominate hs level or score more than 10 a game and is gonna be a solid contributor here. Maybe I'm wrong.

I knew what you meant.....it was just funny to me.....I'm worried about CCM recruiting but I'm not a coach so I will wait and see how it works out.

I still think the 11' and 12' guys like Wes and Reese were more of early/emerency pickups. I still think CCM though the program was going to be in worse shape and this harder to recruit.

I was worried like most when I saw the first guys who he had signing. But now seeing what 13' is looking like, I feel much better.

I bought that with the 11' signing class but thought 12' should have looked better but Moore and Edwards look like they may have potential......I won't feel better until those 13' guys commit.
